SituationI have an iPad Pro 9.7 that I bought in November of 2016. I have used it some of the time for work and media. It is a great device. Two days ago I purchased iPad Pro 10.5 as I see it as a potential replacement for my Macbook Air and that is much cheaper than the new Macbook Pro. I am most likely going to keep the new iPad Pro 10.5 and see if I can get most of my work done on it.QuestionFor those of you who have kids.I posted my iPad Pro 9.7 on Kijii for sale and got some low offers from low baller. Then it occurred to me that perhaps I should keep the 9.7 iPad and make it an educational tool for my 3.5 years old son. No, I will not just give it to him. I will set it up with parental control and a selection of apps. I also use Plex that has a collection of educational cartoons and nature documentaries for my son.Is it worth keeping the iPad for him and using it to help him learn the alphabet, math, and eventually reading? There are also some good science apps for kids. It is an expensive device for his age but if it can help him learn, I am willing to suck it up and pay the price. via /r/Parenting http://ift.tt/2s2Dqhj
