My 3 year old son has become a nightmare since the arrival of his sister.

We had a little girl 2 weeks ago and since her arrival, my son has changed so much! He is great with his sister...He likes to kiss her and hold her, etc but he shows his insecurities in other ways. He will ask us if we love him at least a few times a day and every time we let him know we do. Simple requests like asking him to clean up a toy or wash his hands almost always leads to resistance and then tantrums. He even started hitting himself today. I know this is just a cry for attention but boy is it making this transition so much harder. We spend a lot of solo time with him, always show him affection and make sure he isn’t ignored but he still is insecure and acting out. I’m hoping parents with more experience with this can give me some tips/tricks or at least let me know it’s a phase that will pass because I’m just so frustrated at this point I don’t know what to do. via /r/Parenting http://ift.tt/2rPGIQK
