
He's 16 years old. A main reason we don't let him close his doors is because the litterboxes are in his room, but also because if we're downstairs and he's upstairs he needs to be able to hear us. He already can't have headphones but we aren't sure if we should let him close his door on top of that. He knows if we catch him with it closed again it'll be taken off the hinges. Especially when he has his girlfriend over, he wants to close his door but thats unreasonable with a girl over. They've been together for 2 years and still he hasn't gotten used to that rule.
