I have stayed in a physically and emotionally abusive relationship for the last three years because people kept telling me this. A few people told me to run, but I ignored them in favor of the majority opinion.I have been cheated on, assaulted, berated, and neglected for years. I went from being a healthy, happy, fit fun guy to an anxious skinny mess. Please, don't make my mistake, run if you're in an abusive relationship.
