When did you stop following your kid into the exam room during their doctor visits for physicals?

Maybe a weird question, but it's something I have been thinking about lately. My oldest turns 12 next month and we will likely get the kids physical exams done sometime in June.I was wondering if he is at the age where I should start allowing him to go into the examination room on his own. I know some people are afraid of molestation happening, but others say that have always allowed their kids to go alone. I typically like going because I normally have some questions. Nothing crazy, but my kids are on the smaller side and I like to make sure they are growing normally. I also worry that he won't ask any questions if he goes alone. I was thinking about hanging around until she checks the nether regions, but I also know that kids have to learn how to handle themselves at the doctor's office at some point. My son has been in the doctors office solo (he suffered a concussion during a football game and got to the hospital before I did), so it's not like it would be brand new to him.I was just curious to see how others handle it. Thanks. via /r/Parenting http://ift.tt/2pfdQ5K
