Hi again, parenting community. I have another strange "issue" with my toddler: playing with/smearing poop everywhere every day.We were potty training him, and it was going so well. He would tell my husband and me when he had to go, and if he peed or pooped in his pull up, he would tell us. This went on for about a month, then suddenly, he just stopped (like he decided he doesn't want to use the potty anymore or breathe a word to us). We still try to encourage him to use the potty, but it's met with tantrums and "all done" 4 seconds after he's sat down.He started this pulling poop out of his pull up/underwear and smearing it everywhere. He's also developed some really overly defiant behavior (jumping on furniture climbing on tables & counter tops), but that's for another post. I have a 1.5 y/o and an infant as well, so between utter frustration, failure and sleep deprivation, I struggle hard to keep my temper when he does this sometimes. My question is this: did anyone else have a similar experience with "poop art"? How did you handle it/stop it? Does giving the child a cold shower really work?I read on a Google searches that it's a commonly occurring problem with toddlers, and that it doesn't necessarily mean that the child has any developmental issues or stress factors to trigger it. Any help/suggestions welcomed, thanks again!TL;DR: toddler making poop art, how to end the behavior? via /r/Parenting http://ift.tt/2pX5rSv
