11 year old son sneaking into our bedroom at night. Any advice on how to handle this?

My 11 year old son is the oldest of three and has always been my easiest child. Easy baby, easy toddler, and an easy kid. So far as a tween, he has been easy as well. He's confident, smart, funny, has a lot of friends, plays sports, and is all around a perfectly normal middle schooler. Just wanted to give you guys an idea of what he is like.He recently (last couple of months or so) has been sneaking into our bedroom asking to sleep with us instead. We allowed it for a while and eventually set up a sleeping bag on the floor for him because he is a wild sleeper. I was hoping that he would prefer sleeping on his comfortable bed than the sleeping bag, but he would still pop in once a week and sleep in the sleeping bag. He will sometimes still try to sneak in our bed.I'm not sure what to do here. We have never been co-sleepers, so it isn't like he is reverting back to some old behavior. When I ask him about it, he says that he doesn't know why he does it. He just feels like it. He currently shares a room with his younger brother, so it isn't like he is afraid of being left alone. Should I just continue to allow it? Can someone reassure me that he won't be coming home from college to sleep in our bed with us? I'm (kind of) joking on the last one. via /r/Parenting http://ift.tt/2nveGMi
