I'll cut right to it:Toddler (3yrs, F), has acute Bronchitis (requires temporary medication). She also has respiratory allergies ( requires daily medication). The dispute: Ex wants to take toddler to China (for 2-4 weeks), in one of the most polluted cities on Earth.I am against this (for the following reasons ONLY ):No healthcare coverage there (Kaiser doesn't cover China , and there sure as Hell ain't no Walgreens pharmacy there).Child's respiratory problems will be made worse in that environment. Her Pediatrician concurs.Lack of access to medications ( if her medications are lost or run out then she's in BIG trouble)They intend to visit a region where the air pollution is really bad (I know this b/c, I've lived/worked there )Ex is adamant about going. Absolutely will not reconsider nor renegotiate (despite medical advice)Question: What would you do, if you were in my position?[ADDENDUM] - I had already consulted legal counsel long ago. She said there is nothing I can do. via /r/Parenting http://ift.tt/2gljn6R
