games, activities for a 6 month old (not boring to father)?

I have a 6 month old kid. He is a good sleeper and is most of the time in a good mood. However, when he's awake he likes to play (like he should) but he gets bored after a few min, so I need to constantly change the 'game' or 'activity'. We are avoiding TV, smart phone, tablet games. I am looking for ideas of creative activities would be as exciting to the baby and to the father. ps: I am a science, computer, geek so something related to those areas would be ideal. ps2: Mom does and loves the singing, reading, dancing activities as dad is not a big fan of those. via /r/Parenting http://ift.tt/2flUGHR
