My 7 months old boy just started crawling (commando style) a few weeks ago. Now he is practicing standing already. I'm staying temporarily with my parents far away from home and we only brought with us what could fit in my luggage. My parents found a wooden playpen for him handed down from a friend. Now the kid is standing, putting him to practice in the playpen seemed like a safe idea as falling on the floor is worse, right? Wrong. Falling against the wooden bars was the first time he's actually gotten an ugly bruise. I feel awful! Please don't judge me harshly, he is my first kid. Any recommendations on what to do, when buying a new playpen probably won't happen? via /r/Parenting http://ift.tt/2grFYeq
