Separated/divorced parents, when and where does Santa come to your kids?

My son will only be 7.5 months old this christmas, but one day he is going to understand what Santa is all about. My ex and I haven't reached an ongoing agreement, but it is likely that we will alternate Christmases. What does Santa do?
