Me and my husband have 2 kids, our 9-year-old from my 1st marriage and our just about 2-year-old.My 9-year-old goes to visit his family every other year for Christmas and this has worked out fine for us for 7 years so far. Last year was our year and this year is not. This has me thinking, how will we do Christmas morning? Our 9-year-old was always happy we waited for him, but now with our younger son, it doesn't feel like that would be fair for him.
