Thank you parents for your answers.I took my son to the doctors in the morning, We had two different doctors look at him and they both agreed that its just probably hives. They checked his mouth and he doesn't have any sores in it. The rash also didn't get worse, it looks the same as yesterday. If anything, a little dryer.I did mention to them, we went pumpkin picking this past Saturday. The farm has a nice little pastry shop where they make cider donuts. Recently we discovered my son has an allergy to walnuts, pecans and hazelnuts. What I'm guessing is that the cider donuts are made with the same utensils the farm uses to make other pastries that might have tree nuts in them.Entirely my fault. I'm very pregnant now, the smell of the donuts drove me crazy so I got some. My kids were staring at me, I didn't think it twice before sharing with them the delicious donuts. I should have known. They recommended Benadryl and some calamine lotion. Nothing else. They doctors said they're not a 100% sure, if I wanted confirmation whether it is HFM disease or hives, I need to go thru some blood testing.I don't think it's necessary since either way there's nothing I can do to heal him faster. The illness has to run its course. I'll keep my kids in the house for now. Just in case.My husband will do the grocery shopping so we don't have to get out. We have a big back yard and my son was in a great mood today despite the horrible rash. He ate a lot as well, and made sure he drank lots of fluids.Unless my daughter suddenly gets sick tomorrow or the next few days, it is probably just hives.Thank you all for your tips, and words of encouragement.Have a wonderful night! via /r/Parenting http://ift.tt/2ebRzQ1
