Hi All,My daughter is 15 months old. About one and a half months ago, she was very sick (temperature of around 104, listless), and it turns out she had a urinary tract infection. After a week of strong antibiotics, she was back to her old self. Two weeks ago, I noticed her urine was getting a bit smelly. I brought in a urine sample, and she had another UTI which went away after 5 days on antibiotics (as verified by another pee sample).Fast forward to last Friday, her pee started smelling again and as we found out yesterday, her UTI is back. She is on another course of antibiotics. This is three UTIs in less than two months. For the last two, she has otherwise been acting normal. We haven't seen a specialist yet, which is a bit frustrating. We are in the UK where we first need a GP referral and everything moves a bit slow. We are due to see a urologist next Monday for an ultrasound. We expect, of course, that there is some structural abnormality with her urinary tract, and we are very worried about the chance of kidney scarring. Have any of you experienced something similar? What ended up being the cause, how was it treated, and how is your little one now?My wife and I are very anxious, so any stories would help! Thanks via /r/Parenting http://ift.tt/2ebc5lh
