Question about rolling over, 6 months old

Hello there! Disclaimer-- I am NOT asking for medical advice. Regardless of what the good ol' internet tells me to do, I will bring this up at my son's pediatrician appointment scheduled for next week. Just looking for some anecdotes here! With that said, has anyone had a child who didn't roll either direction by 6 months? If so, what was the outcome? My son rolled belly to back twice in one day at 3 months old, but has not done it since, nor has he really tried. He doesn't do the twisting movement with his legs/hips at all. And he has never rolled back to belly, nor come anywhere close. He also seems to have less hand/arm coordination than would be expected at this age. I recently started giving him large finger foods to nom on, and he will grab it, pull it to his mouth, and then sort of fling his arm behind him. Then he pretty consistently has trouble picking it up a second time.I have considered submitting an Early Steps eval (I completed a paper version recently and scored it without actually submitting it-- he is in the "gray" area in 4/5 categories-- which means he is not delayed in any of them, but just slightly above the cutoff). However I also just submitted one a week ago for my 3 year old who I suspect strongly (and my suspicions are supported by a friend who is a pediatric OT) probably has some level of sensory processing disorder. So I don't want to be "that mom" who is freaking out over every little thing... ya know??Anyway. TL;DR looking for any stories about delayed rolling (6+ months) and what your child's outcome was. Thanks!! via /r/Parenting http://ift.tt/2esQSTH
