My son(5) got sent to the principals office today for pretending to shoot at his friend with his finger.

As title states, his teacher talked to him one day explaining that guns are bad and people are scared of them. Well he forgot and did it again the next day. So his teacher ended up taking him to the principals office so they could discuss about pretending to have a gun.Are all schools starting to crack down on this kind of imagination? I believe taking a 5 year old to the principals office would instil more fear than harmless play. What are your thoughts? via /r/Parenting http://ift.tt/2etZmXj
