Looking for advice on managing sleep for a newborn and a toddler

Our son will be two in January, and we recently discovered we're expecting our second baby, due around June next year. With a newborn likely to wake up and cry at any moment of the night, how do you cope managing sleep for another child?Bit more background, our son was an absolute nightmare for sleep when he was tiny. For the first six weeks he wouldn't sleep unless he was being held, so we relented and slept in shifts so we could at least get a bare minimum 3-4 hours each. He's mostly a good sleeper now except for occasional blips where he'll wake in the night and refuse to go down.If our new baby is anywhere near as bad as he was, I feel like it's going to be a nightmare for the entire household, because not only will we be exhausted, but our toddler will be struggling too and probably be much more difficult in the day as a result.Any tips or experience from parents who have gone through this would be much appreciated! via /r/Parenting http://ift.tt/2dUoero
