How would you explain to your child why she can't see daddy anymore?

Today I took my daughter to the ER to confirm sexual abuse. She came back red and sore from spending the night with her bio dad, per visitation, and the hospital confirmed it. She told me what he did, and the hospital confirmed it.How would you explain this to a child? She's four, she's always been fairly close with him though we haven't lived with him in 3.5 years. I never really saw this happening and I don't know what to do now. She's going to be heartbroken, and confused, and I don't know what I can do to help her.
