My daughter is 2 and I watch her friend (also 2) a couple days a week. My daughter is so mean to the other girl sometimes. Some examplesShe will boss her around like, "No! You can't run you have to walk!" Even if they were both running. I tell her her friend has her own mind and she is not the boss. When the other girl picks up a toy my daughter snatches it from her hand. I have been telling her she instead needs to say, "can I have that when you are done?" If she doesn't give it back after snatching she has to go for a time out until she can apologizeShe now yells, "CAN I HAVE THAT WHEN YOU DONE!" Right in her face rather than snatching. She has pushed and pulled the other girl's shirt over a toy. That got a time out. With other children she has gotten into mutual scuffles, but she will not quit until she is dragged off. For example, I'm not sure what started it but I saw a 4 year old boy hit her and I had to dash across the room to stop her because she grabbed him by the arms and was pushing him into the wall.My issue is the girls are the same age and the other girl is so sweet. She has maybe cried twice wanting a toy my daughter had, never hit, never yells. She even just stands there when my daughter is attacking her trying to get a toy from her. So my daughter has no reason to be so mean to her.Is this just typical 2 year old behaviour? Is my daughter going to be a bully? I have an infant also that is going to be on the move soon so I'm hoping I might be able to nip this mean behaviour in the bud. via /r/Parenting http://ift.tt/2eCB2T7
