Chubby 12 YO daughter.

My daughter is in her final year of primary school (Australia). Over the past couple of years I have watched her grow up, and out. She eats quiet a lot, not necessarily bad food, just a lot. I've been very careful to not mention this at all because I don't want to give her any issues i.e. Eating disorders or body image issues. And she's not hugely overweight, just chubby. I'm happy to let her be who she is as long as she's happy, but I'm staring to suspect she's not happy. Went clothes shopping today and she won't try anything on, particularly pants. She's a closed book, so won't verbalize what's wrong but I suspect it's her weight. So, my concern is that she's going off to secondary school where it becomes all about 'how I look' and I don't really know how to approach the issue of her overeating and chubbiness without causing harm. via /r/Parenting http://ift.tt/2eGP4D0
