So I've got a 3 week old. Still sleeps in the bassinet next to my wife and I. We got a mattress for the crib at a baby shower, but it seems to be a toddler and not a baby mattress. I'm wondering if it's genuinely dangerous to use that instead of a rock hard baby mattress? Is 90% of this "omg don't have anything soft within 20 yards of baby or he'll die" stuff nothing more than fear mongering? via /r/Parenting http://ift.tt/2a5isQV
