How to help a perfectionist chill out

My daughter is 7 and in second grade. She's always been a perfectionist, gets super upset if something's not perfect, if she gets something wrong, if she makes a mistake, etc. Nothing I do or say seems to help her calm down or handle the mistake with grace. She'll get super grumpy, blame people/things for why she got it wrong, cry, scream, destroy/throw things. It's not limited to schoolwork, but now that we're doing school from home, I'm seeing it a LOT. Any assignment that has room for error is bound to end in tears. It's not even that she's making a ton of mistakes or anything. She gets 99% of her work right, it's that 1% that causes her to act like it's the end of the world.Anyone have a kid like this and have any advice? via /r/Parenting https://ift.tt/34M81zA
