We just had our first child last month right as quarentine started. Because of this, none of our family have been allowed to meet the baby yet as my wife and I are staying quarantined at home until we're told by the doctors and predictions that we can do otherwise. It's really killing us and is difficult on our family. Some of which think they're fine and continually risk exposure with both going to work (at super markets where they need to) but also visiting one another and partaking in social lives to don't extent with friends. They seem to be of the mind set that they don't get colds and they're not going to get it/the news is overblowing it all. Making it more difficult, step siblings with babies of their own are visiting in laws making them all question our need to quarentine even more. It's taking a toll on my wife and I with having to continually say no to them as we've asked literally over a dozen doctors and pediatrics and keep asking at checkups. We just want everyone to stop taking unnecessary risks as my in laws are both older and higher risk. Are we being the smart parents here? via /r/Parenting https://ift.tt/3cMJ5uF
