I know this quarantine has taken a toll on all of us. My wife lost her father to cancer a few weeks ago and we haven’t even been able to hold a service. Then today my wife and I asked my son what he wanted special for meals tomorrow for his birthday. Complete dead silence then he looks at us and says, “wait tomorrow is my birthday?” OofI felt horrible bit of course he didn’t care but it really struck me just how the kids are being affected without us really realizing. He had a few breakdowns today during homeschooling and finally admitted to me how much he misses seeing everyone. I hope this all ends soon. via /r/Parenting https://ift.tt/2RQTlK7
