A friend of mine just found out her son is dying, and does not have long left. I would like to send the family an anonymous Secret Santa package. When I was a child, someone did this for my family when we were having a hard time. We never found out who did it, but it was so meaningful and always stayed with me, and I’d like to pay it forward.I am looking for suggestions of gifts that I could include that will be a good distraction for the family during this time, and will hopefully provide moments of joy or make life a little easier. I’ll include a gift card to local take out places. I would like to do an individual gift for each person— mom, dad, 11 year old boy, 8 year old boy (the child that is dying), and 5 year old girl. My daughter is friends with theirs, so I am not worried about what to get the girl, but have no idea what the boys would like. I would also like to include board games or other activities they could do together.Thank you in advance for suggestions.
