Some people ask me how parenting is going. I will now answer with a story:I made the mistake of leaving my oldest (22 months) alone in the living room for five seconds so I could put together his lunch (the living room is pretty kid proof, very safe for baby).I'm slaving away at the stove, cooking my toddler's ravioli when I hear the pitter patter of his feet coming up. I smile, thinking he wants me to pick him up so he can watch me cook. Then I hear "mama! YUMMY!". I turn around and this turdlet has my coffee cup. My formerly full coffee cup.I freak, thinking he turned everything in the living room brown. I go to check... No coffee stains. That's odd, I think. He couldn't have brought the coffee to his room and spilled it, right? I go check his room... Not a damp spot to be found. Then I think... No... He can't have. All this time the little guy is following me around with this empty cup saying "YUMMY MAMA! MORE?"I sniff his breath. And I step back. Because my baby has done the one thing I had hoped he never would... He caffinated himself. He's spinning around in circles shouting "YUMMY MAMA MORE" over and over again, stamping his feet and laughing maniacally. Also my youngest (8 months) pooped on everything while I was solving the mystery.Send help. via /r/Parenting https://ift.tt/34J4MIo
