My 2.5 year old toddler keeps hitting me(mom) and says “No,mamma” for everything I say. He is extremely attached to his father and will run to him at all times of the day. My husband tends to be more relaxed, patient and cheerful with him whereas I’m a little more of a disciplinarian. This hitting and rejection is causing a lot of strain on us: I feel mentally fatigued due to the continuous rejection by my son, and my husband feels resentful as he’s doing more than his share of the work in addition to being suffocated by affection throughout the day, leading to no “me-time” at all. Is this normal? Is there something wrong that I did as a mother and what can we do as parents to change this? I worry constantly that he hates me for some reason and will keep rejecting me even as an adult. Thank you, your replies are much appreciated! via /r/Parenting https://ift.tt/33J1DqI
