Our 1 year old has been sleeping pretty well for the most part recently, she goes to bed at 7pm and sleep through the night until about 6am. but last night she woke up at about 12:30am crying. Normally, I wait a bit and if she stops on her own, or do the usual things like comfort her or give her a pacifier. I did all these things but each time she would stop crying for a few minutes and then start up again. I have no idea how much time passed. My husband was sleeping in a different room because he had to get up early today and didn't want to wake us with his alarms. I called for his help. He went and got a bottle, came in the room and angrily said."Are you gonna let that baby cry all night?" Left the room and closed the door. Nothing else. I was fuming. So after I gave her the bottle, she was still crying so I got her up and out of the room.I went into the room he was sleeping in and said "not cool, you don't think I'm trying to help her?" He turned around in the bed and said "what, I have to get up early and I'm trying to get some sleep." I said "you think I'm just ignoring her?" (Or something like that) Then he said, "get the fuck out of the room I'm trying to sleep."I spent the next 2 hours trying to help her sleep. She was snotty and coughing and rubbing her ears. So I think she might have an ear infection. She is also teething right now. The only thing that got her to stop crying and fall back asleep was a late night drive at 2am.What would you do if you were me? I'm pissed.I will add that I saw him this morning. He held her and said goodbye. He didn't even look at me. via /r/Parenting https://ift.tt/33ZXyPT
