Taking in kid who has been kicked out - help

Hi allMy son's friend (senior in HS) has been kicked out of his house. DCF is involved but has not found him a place to stay or anything. He is being abused and his parents told him not to go back. He does not feel safe returning to the house. We have talked about it and decided we are ok with taking him in in the interim until DCF can finish the investigation and find him a place to stay or whatever it is they do.Does anyone have any advice on how to proceed?Thanks in advance via /r/Parenting https://ift.tt/34P9PXA
