Looking for some suggestions... I have a three year old girl who is good friends with a three year old boy in the neighborhood. How do I respond to his mom who is always making comments to her son such as “be careful, she’s a girl” or pointing out that a girl is braver than him when she climbs higher than him on the playground equipment? This is the opposite of how we talk about gender/sex in my house and I see it’s confusing my daughter and she’s starting to internalize these messages, despite our frequent conversations at home. via /r/Parenting https://ift.tt/2KPbaG3
