No words 23 months

Hi - my wonderful son is 23 months old, meeting all other milestones, but does not talk yet. He babbles and grunts and makes noises just no words. Otherwise, he knows exactly what we are talking about, he will grab his shoes if we ask him, gets his high chair, puts his books away, etc. He definitely understands us. He is happy and giggly and a great mix of both independent and cuddly. He is babysat by my parents 3-4 days a week and gets a 2nd language at their house. We don’t have any hearing concerns, he can sometimes hear things that are so quiet that we strain to hear them (like an airplane in the sky) although we may go for another hearing test soon to completely rule it out. He passed his newborn hearing test. He also never had an ear infection or other issues with his ears.We started speech therapy 4 weeks ago and it’s once a week. Too early to know if it’s helping. Therapist said she knows he understands but is behind on making key sounds. Is working on some techniques including using signs.Sorry for all of the random info. I was just hoping for some advice, I am stressed over this and really just wanna make sure we are doing everything we can for our son.Thank you! via /r/Parenting https://ift.tt/2D9j4WM
