"Maybe we shouldn't have a second because we might not get as lucky as we did with #1" - anyone else dealt with these feelings?

Our son is 6 months old and we feel we got so lucky with him. We have seen in my family what an utter crap shoot genetics can be.Ok our son is a terrible sleeper but his little personality just amazes us - he is an absolute joy to parent. What if we had another one and he/she wasn't healthy? Or miserable all the time? Or messes up our happy family dynamic? How did you approach these kinds of thoughts?
