Because it contains some highly personal information. But I don't know where else to ask without divulging a secret I swore I would never Repeat but the info is relevant to our problem. My Son turned 3 yesterday. We've been having problems with potty training. What we've read about training boys is to have them watch Daddy Pee in the toilet. Here is the dilemma. My Husband from the age of our son is now to the age of 6 was sexually abused by his female babysitter. He does remember most of that last year most of the abuse happened in the bathroom. He is very uncomfortable having anyone watch. He tried to get past it for our son. The one time he tried to show our son to use the bathroom. He panicked afterwards. He said he felt disgusted with himself. He felt like he Sexual assulted him and some how it would he traumatized our son. It's hard for my Husband to even give our son a bath and clean that area.So I know that there has been single Mother's that have potty trained their Sons with out a man around to show them how to do it. So it's not impossible. (I hope that doesn't offend anyone)Is there any advice on Potty Training Boys you could give me? It would be greatly appreciated! Thank you! via /r/Parenting https://ift.tt/34pReRI
