I wrote my teenage daughter this poem today!!! She actually liked it! Had to get creative about her attitude...

You say I don't care and that I'm unfair But truth in a poem be toldI crawl under your bed where it smells like dead To retrieve your dishes with moldYou say I'm a drag, love to nag and that I'm super mean when All I want is for you to realize you're awesome I support your dreamsI'm mom and dad and have to be there happy mad or sad One day you'll see what a mom's journey can be, and realize I wasn't that bad.I end this poem with positive thoughts you are my sun and all its light One day you'll grow up and say to yourself I'm glad she raised me right! How she did it I'll never know. That she's incredible and loves me so. That she gave her all for me. That no greater love there can ever be.-your mom I love you Adriana via /r/Parenting https://ift.tt/2CKceqh
