So what a night...We'd just got the kids to bed, one is nearly 3 and one is nearly 1 (both December babies). My partner popped to the shop and I did some tidying, then I go upstairs to give my oldest a teddy she likes to sleep with.As I'm heading up the stairs she bursts out crying, it smells awful too. I go into her room, light off about to hand her the teddy when I realise. She's pooed. A full on explosion off the side of her bunk bed onto the floor, the underneath where there's teddies and her bed, blanket, and other teddies. Now I have a very very weak stomach, she's been doing awful poos all day but nothing could of prepared me for the two year old shit storm she gave me tonight. She was covered in it, the bed and again under her bed and the carpeted floor. I immediately try to start sorting it out but it doesn't take me long to start heaving. This poor kid is covered in shit and I'm about to puke all over the place 😭Thankfully my partner comes back and I instantly call out to him for help (bear in mind baby no.2 is 'asleep' in his cot), bless his heart he comes straight up and gets in to action. Once she's in the shower he starts scrubbing the floors etc. I give my girl the biggest waah of her life and by now she's finding the whole thing funny, it was an accident so she's been given lots of love.We get her out, I think it's odd how baby no.2 still not woken up, he's a light sleeper. Daddy gets in the shower and I'm getting the oldest re-ready for bed. I hear baby no.2 stirring a bit and all our clothes are kept in his room, so I think fuck it might as well get them now he's awake. As soon as he hears the door he starts bawling his eyes out.I open his door and the smell! I can't believe it's happening again 😭 It was almost as bad as the poo but he had puked, like really puked over his pillow, then proceeded to play with it... So we had to restart his bedtime too. He got stripped and given to Daddy in the shower. Now I can handle sick much better, I had hyperemesis twice over for 9 months, so I got straight too sorting his cot out. Then we had two very wide awake kids and a whole bedtime to redo. It was some relief they were rather easy to get back to bed, the oldest was told to use the toilet the moment she thinks she needs a poo and the baby happily went down... For half an hour where he's puked a little bit more and had to redo his bedding, luckily the oldest was asleep so I could give him to Daddy and get his cot sorted.I literally have never experienced anything like it during my whole time parenting and wow what an experience it's been. I'm glad to be sat down with a coffee, hopefully there's no more episodes tonight. I also have to plough through the piles of washing I now have 🤷🏻♀️😂 via /r/Parenting https://ift.tt/2QqdSp8
