I am not from US but live here, married to a great American guy, have American in-laws and a half American toddler. They LOVE tons and tons of presents on Christmas. Grandparents-in-law tell me how they would have a laundry basket full of presents as kids and it's the best memory.I don't want my daughter being so obsessed with opening and receiving presents.
