Family Vacation Time!

I hate planning vacations. Specifically, I hate planning family vacations. Mostly because DH gives me very little feedback on my suggestions and what little he does contribute doesn't take into consideration that we will have to entertain 3 kids for a week and just going to the beach for 5-6 days in a row won't cut it, IMO. We also have to stay in the US because none of us has a valid passport right now. So, I need some help. I need to find some vacation spots in the US that are:Warm enough to go to the beach/swim outside, even in December-February.Has enough stuff to do to keep three kids (11, 7, and 4) more or less entertained for about 5 days (not including the two travel days).Isn't too outrageously expensive. This means Hawaii is probably out of the question because I think the airfare alone would bankrupt us, never mind feeding everyone for a week.Any suggestions will be welcome.
