Anyone else feel like their parents let their pride/"I raised you and you're just fine" knowledge get in the way of their grandbabies safety? I was in a crash a few weeks ago and borrowed my moms carseat until I could get a new one. Noticed it was expired and told her I'd buy one for her. She told me no, she'd order one. Come today I tell her I'm putting the expired one out to the curb and she's telling me to not throw out her carseat. What?! I tossed it and bought her a new one but now she's angry and I'm just left here very confused and frustrated. My mom watches my daughter at least twice a week while her father and I are at work so making sure she has a good seat is important to me. I know I'm kind of venting here but is there anyone else with parents this stubborn or is mine a special case? via /r/Parenting https://ift.tt/33bdRYO
