Back to work tonight. Loved it.

I have a 2 yr old and 6 month old and have been a sahm since my daughter was born. There is a daycare shortage in my town so for me to go back to work full time would be pointless. But I got a part time serving job at theatre venue serving Christmas parties and concerts. Tonight was my first night. I left at 6 and my husband took care of bedtime for the kids. Got to work served some nice people. It was Bollywood night so I got to watch some dancing and eat some delicious food. Then I came home my kids were asleep and my husband. Kitchen was clean . I literally have nothing left to do for the day.It’s been a rough couple of years back to back pregnancies. My youngest has never slept through the night. But tonight was a dream. I don’t care if I make $20 just to get out of the house is nice. And I love my friends and family but to get out of the house and not have pressure to socialize or have deep conversations is also nice. Just talking to people I don’t know about nothing but drinks is just what I needed.
