Parent of 2 kiddos (2 years and 8 weeks) and live with my wife in a 2nd floor apt. built around 1920. Our downstairs neighbors have begun regularly filling noise complaints because my 2 yo is too loud for their tastes. Now, let me clarify some things. They are specifically claiming that he walks too loud. He's 2, he runs everywhere and makes noise because his little feet are moving so fast. They claim that we get up too early (I leave for work at 6 am and my wife takes the kids to daycare at 7am), 2 yo usually wakes up around 6am.We are fed up with this and had been planning to move when our lease is up at the end of May next year. Other urban parents have similar experiences?
