What are some indicators your toddler is intelligent?

Hey Reddit.Wanted to see what are some early indicators of child intelligence? At first my wife and I assumed we were just going through typical parent bias where we think out 18mo old is intelligent, but every day her comprehension seems to go up and up.At 18mo, she knows a good 35+ words. She knows her colors and can pick the right color every time. She knows 123, she knows ABC, she knows pretty much all "toddler" animals like dog, pig, cat, cow, bear, lion, zebra etc. She saw a picture of a panda the other day and said "bear." We were like "Wow, great job!" A second later she said panda! I was flabbergasted. She sings along to music. More so "ooo's" to music but seems to understand pitch shifting relative to the song. Her comprehension is super high. Without prompting, she decides to go get toilet paper to wipe the floor, throw away some garbage, she will tell us if the water in the water bowl is gone for the dog. She bottle feed her dolls. She opsn the fridge and gets herself cheese while literally saying "sheez" for cheese. She will use her feet to try and reach for something under a table. She shoots basketballs and then knows she is watching basketball when its on TV. She can navigate youtube, swipe up and away messages, press "next" to bypass an ad.She even performs one demand. She doesn't this animated shocked face when you ask her if she's shocked. She will "gasp" and put her hand to her mouth in disbelief. She will fall down dramatically if you ask her to fall down. Then she looks up to see if her audience is pleased.I kept telling my wife that we were just having parental bias but even I'm starting to be really surprised. Is this pretty typical for a 18mo old? Are we just typical parents amazed by their child? via /r/Parenting http://bit.ly/2K0CnG6
