My fifth grade son informed me yesterday that his teacher read each student's standardized test scores aloud in class this week in what she said was an attempt to inspire them to do better on the next upcoming standardized test. My initial reaction was anger, but I should mention that this teacher has made a few questionable choices throughout the year and both my son and I are disappointed and fed up with her as a teacher, so I may be quick to demonize her choices. Is it normal and accepted to read test scores out loud like this? To me it feels like a gross invasion of privacy but I'd be interested to hear feedback from others before I reach out to the teacher and the school's administration. via /r/Parenting http://bit.ly/2M6KWlv
