My 4 year old won’t accept her 11 month old sister.

I’m truly at my wits end with my daughters anger towards her sister. We also have a 6 year old boy and he’s sort of the same way but not as extreme. I’ll add that the oldest two are from my first marriage but new husband has been in their lives since the now 4 year old was 1. He treats them all like they’re his own. I don’t show the baby more attention than them. We try to do fun things with them all the time to constantly remind them they’re important but still they won’t call her their sister. They won’t play with her when she tries to interact with them. They act like she’s disgusting. Say things like “ew” and “gross” when she gets near them. They would rather be in their rooms than to spend time with us in the living room as a family. Any advice or tips to help the situation. Please. My heart breaks for the baby because she is so obsessed with them. Laughs when they walk in the room, constantly smiles around them, and I feel like she really just wants their approval. via /r/Parenting http://bit.ly/30GoId9
