Summer project on food so kid will eat more variety

Got this idea from an experienced parent -- pick a theme (with kid’s input) for each summer to learn about. Well last year we learned about ocean animals through watching documentaries & YouTube videos, drawing them, reading books from library, & a trip to aquarium. This summer it’s all about FOOD. My 7yo has such a limited range of food that constipation is a constant companion. So I need ideas on how to introduce more foods — so far we have: - watch cooking shows & make what they make - draw different fruits and veggies - science experiments with foodsI could really use some help with coming up with other fun ideas. Ideally, by end of summer, she will eat some kind of fruit (she doesn’t eat any right now) and veggies besides raw carrots and cucumbers.Btw, we the parents eat fruit and lots of veggies, talk about the importance of eating right, don’t allow soda or much sugary foods in house, put new food options on her plate, & don’t force/bribe her to eat anything. via /r/Parenting http://bit.ly/2X6faGw
