Deciding on another child, but I’m feeling overwhelmed after hearing the experiences of friends with 2 kids.

My husband and I have an amazing 2-year old daughter. We are so happy with our family of 3, but lately have been discussing having another child. Both my husband and I want another child, and we would love to give my daughter a sibling. My issue right now is I’m terrified I can’t handle it. After the birth of my daughter I suffered from PPD and the weight of the responsibilities of motherhood was suffocating to me. I’ve luckily gotten past that, but as a life-long sufferer of anxiety disorders, I still do battle with anxiety daily. Recently when speaking to friends about wanting another child, a few of them have commented about how “I don’t know what I’m in for” and “two kids is unbelievably much more difficult than one.” This is sending my anxiety into overdrive already anticipating that I won’t be able to handle the demands of motherhood with another child.I guess I’m looking for some insight from other parents of 2+ kids...is the jump from 1-2 really that bad? Has anyone found the jump from 0-1 more difficult than from 1-2? via /r/Parenting http://bit.ly/2EqAsr4
