My teenager has been watching videoes on YouTube and fully believes in conspiracy theories. Phase or something more?

We stopped monitoring our teenagers online activities for the most part.We recently discovered that our oldest was watching YouTube conspiracy theory videoes by Shane Dawson and now he fully believes in conspiracy theories.How do I get him to use his brain? via /r/Parenting http://bit.ly/2GiLY9x
