What is the proper age to have the talk with our children about the birds and the bees? Also, what are some healthy and effective ways to deliver this information?

My wife and I want to make sure we get to our children on the subject before their friends or anybody else, but we also don’t want to traumatize them, or give them the info when they’re too immature/not ready.We’re also looking for suggestions about effective ways to have “the talk”/deliver the information.And, because we do have a sense of humor, any funny and instructive stories on the subject of giving/receiving the talk are welcome too.Thanks in advance! via /r/Parenting http://bit.ly/2LN1n2G
