I love being a father, have a little 3w old baby boy I adore. Working from home allows me to be very involved in raising him. But the constant tips and advice on how should I raise him from parents, grandparents and other close members of the family is just frustrating. She (my wife) says "just listen, say yes and do whatever you think right" but being stubborn me, I hate hearing all this advice on what should I do and what shouldn't.As I take everything involved with my baby super seriously, doing extensive research every step of the way (thank you google and modern world perks), I found out that large amounts of the tips given are parts of various superstitions and things that were proven as bullshit, some which actually can harm baby's health (such as giving him water in a bottle after 1m or overclothing and keeping high room temp for the baby although it was proven to be connected with SIDS).How do you handle this annoying aspect of parenting? Any tips on how to handle it without getting into conflict? via /r/Parenting http://bit.ly/2Upwe8H
