Toddler doesn’t want me

Hi all,First time dad here to a wonderful 15 month old boy. Goodness I am so in love with him. Going back to the beginning, my wife had a difficult pregnancy and I ended up doing a lot of his firsts (feeding, bath, diaper change etc.). Soon after, I separated from the military and my wife was the sole provider for our family so my son and i got really close as I was his caretaker.Fast forward about 10 months, I began a certification program to get a better job. As I was studying, my wife took care of him so I was spending a lot less time with him.Fast forward another 3 months...my son completely pulls away from me. He won’t let me feed him, pick him up, or even look at me and it’s absolutely heartbreaking. If I’m the only one there to change his diaper, he protests. This morning as I was changing his diaper, he was looking at me with complete distaste.What am I doing wrong and is this normal? via /r/Parenting http://bit.ly/2Fa3gpq
