So. My teen has recently come out as NB. I’m working really hard on accepting pronouns and using them as well as enforcing them with other adults. (Side note - how do I handle adults who are not wanting to use the gender pronouns my child prefers?). However, I can’t help but feel like I’m mucking it up. How do I handle this? Is there therapy? For my kid and for me? And what happened to girls who didn’t feel feminine just being tomboys?
